Some people believe cancer is hereditary and certain people are "predisposed" to become cancer victims. There may be some basis of fact to this. Still others develop cancer based on environmental factors such as working in hazardous occupations for example. Regardless of how one gets cancer it remains a treatable yet uncurable disease.
